THE ERSKINCLAN

The Lineage of My imediate family

The information here only goes back to my great, great grandfather, Andrew Erskine--the first entry. If anyone can provide information that traces Andrew's linage further back, please, contact me and let me know. Also, If you read this page carefully you will notice that there are two entries for Joseph D. Erskine. The reason for this is that Joseph was the sixth child of Andrew and Lucinda Erskine. Joseph D. and Mary Ann Erskine had 7 children, the fourth child, John George, was my grandfather. John George and Martha had 10 children. The nineth was my father, John Junior Erskin. And, yes, my family used to use the final "e" in the spelling of Erskin. There is a story behind why we don't and I'll get around to posting it one of these days.
